If you’d like to configure vDos further (to enable print or network support, for instance), the vDos FAQ offers support and guidance to help you. If that message is what you see when trying to run the executable in DOSBox, then it means the executable has the new format (not surprisingly in 2010), so DOS (and DOSBox) can't load it. W7 64 bit will not run 16 bit apps, but 32 bit will. And presumably uninstall virtual pc/xpmode. I didn’t have GCC in mind when I started this project.

It is not designed to run DOS games within Windows, Linux etc. So, even if ACAD R12 DOS uses mixed code like PADS Perform, you can still run it in Win 2000 or XP.
